Ross Harrison
Originally from London, where I worked as a semi-pro trumpet player before coming to Japan in 2003 for a change of pace and lifestyle. Here in Japan I teach English, to language learners ranging form highe school kids up to corporate professionals.
Recently I have found my true purpose in life, ironically taught to me by the very people I was teaching! I learned that my students valued me more for my life lessons than they did from my English lessons.
My theme in life is to Aspire to Inspire.
I have been lucky to help others grow and achieve big things in on their quest for success, and this in turn makes me successful.
I beleive that we can all be successful no matter where we start from. It is just a question of changing one's outlook on life and how you respond to it. The recent earth shattering events in Japan, helped to reinforce this new motto as I observed how different people responded to the adverse conditions that ensued; some people showed real courage and leadership, while others needed to be led.
I have recently started a quest, both here on HubPages, and on my blog to understand what makes people successful so that we might learn to imrpove our own lot in life.
